Call For New Executive Team Members
The Ontario Woundcare Interest Group (OntWIG) is currently seeking applications for executive team positions.
Deadline to apply: October 15, 2017
Term begins: November 1, 2017
Who May Apply: open to all health care professionals (Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Chiropodists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Dietitians etc.) who have current membership with OntWIG.
Positions available:
President: must be a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner as OntWIG is an affiliated interest group with the RNAO
Interprofessional Membership: open to any member, preference will be given to those members from disciplines other than nursing

Do you have a passion for advocacy to ensure all patients receive the right care, by the right provider, at the right time?
Become Involved With OntWIG
OntWIG is an interprofessional interest group affiliated with RNAO who are interested in developing and expanding the voice of healthcare providers who are committed to influencing public policy to improve wound care prevention and treatment for all Ontarians.
OntWIG’s volunteer executive team provides strives to engage policy makers and stakeholders at all levels of the healthcare system; provide leadership and direction to working groups; and, participates in provincial, national and international initiatives aimed at health policy.
